Czech popular actor Abrham dies aged 82

Josef Abrham, one of the most popular Czech theatre and film actors, died on Monday evening at the age of 82, his son told CTK today. Abrham became famous for his comic as well as serious roles of attractive men, seducers and doctors, mainly that of Blazej, a hospital head physician unfaithful to his wife, in the internationally acclaimed TV series Hospital at the End of the City (Nemocnice na kraji mesta, 1977) and that of a comic fraudster in the title role of Waiter, Scarper! (Vrchni, prchni, 1980).
