The talks on the conditions of the Czech-Polish agreement to tackle the impact of mining in the Turow Polish lignite mine near the Czech border should continue, as the current deal does not secure a sufficient protection, the expert organisation Frank Bold said today. It says the deal does not guarantee that the Czech territory will be protected enough from water depletion and other damage caused by mining and that it does not include the updated hydrogeological model.
