Czech police unit to help guarding Hungarian border

The Czech Republic has sent an additional police unit to help guarding the external border of the Schengen Area on the Hungarian-Serbian border, Czech Police Presidium spokeswoman told CTK on Monday. "Upon the request of Hungary, the Czech Police sent a 40-member contingent of policemen tasked to help guarding the external border of the European Union," Irena Pilarova said.
