Czech police uncover Ponzi scheme worth over a billion

The National Organised Crime Centre (NCOZ) has accused of fraud causing damage over one billion crowns three people who offered investments at world stock-exchanges and harmed 2,060 people, NCOZ spokesman Jaroslav Ibehej told journalists on Thursday. They offered the investments, but in the reality, they did not do any investment activities and used the money for their own needs instead, he said.
