Czech police seize 97 guns, accused nine men

The Czech police have accused nine men of illegal arms possession, police investigator Jaroslav Marecek told journalists on Thursday, adding that they seized 97 firearms in home searches in the Liberec and Pardubice regions. The seized arms included 26 assault rifles and one machine gun, together with over 24,000 cartridges as well as other gun parts and explosive material.
