Czech police arrest three foreigners with 10 kg of marijuana

The Czech police have arrested three foreign nationals who were buying large amounts of marijuana in the Czech Republic and distributed the drug in other European countries, Zlin regional police spokeswoman Lenka Javorkova told CTK on Tuesday. The foreigners were arrested in Luhacovice in the Zlin district last week and they face up to 18 years in prison each if found guilty of illegally producing and handling drug. The police seized nearly ten kilogrammes of marijuana and hundreds of thousands of crowns in cash during a home search.
