Czech PM warns of catastrophic economic scenarios

The overall data indicate a decline of the Czech economy, Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) said in the Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday before its vote on the 2020 state budget with a record high deficit of 500 billion crowns, but he warned of catastrophic scenarios. The European Commission (EC) said this week it expected the Czech economy to shrink by 7.8 percent.
