Czech PM pays homage to Palach's memory in Luxembourg

Prime Minister Andrej Babis laid flowers at the commemorative plaque for Jan Palach, a Czech student who burnt himself to death in 1969 to rouse the society from lethargy following the Soviet occupation of the country, during his visit to Luxembourg on Friday. Babis said Luxembourg had made a wonderful gesture when naming a part of a square in the historical centre of Luxembourg after Palach.
