The space programme and the related technological progress will be a priority for the Czech Republic more and more and so further investments will go to it, Prime Minister Andrej Babis said at the official opening of the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) seated in Prague. Babis said the space programme may become one of the key possibilities of economic development after the coronavirus crisis. He promised the Czech government support in all security and technical affairs concerning the EUSPA operation. The EUSPA recently arose through a transformation of the European satellite navigation system. It newly associates the direction of the EU space programme's operation, but still keeps in charge of operating the Galileo navigation system.
