Czech PM not expecting budget framework agreement at EU summit

February 19th, 2020

Czech PM Andrej Babis (ANO) does not expect the upcoming EU special summit to reach agreement on the 2021-2027 multiannual budget framework, since individual countries' positions in this respect differ excessively, he told the EU affairs committee of the Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday. He visited the committee's session to present the Czech position ahead of the summit that starts on Thursday and that he is going to attend.
