Czech PM for Zelenskiy to attend autumn EU summit if possible

Czech PM Petr Fiala would like the EU informal autumn summit in Prague to deal with the post-war renewal of Ukraine and be attended by its President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in person, but it will depend on the situation, he told a joint press conference with EP head Roberta Metsola in Prague today. Metsola said the EP unitedly supports the granting of the EU candidate status to Ukraine. Czechia, which takes up the EU rotating presidency as of July, shares the approach, said Fiala.
