The financial support from the EU to help its member countries combat the coronavirus and the economic impact of the epidemic does not mean any additional money for the Czech Republic, Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) tweeted on Friday. However, MEPs and the European Commission (EC) took issue with his argument. Babis said the Czech Republic had been entitled to the earmarked 1.2 billion euros even before.
