Czech opposition against use of COVID vaccines unregistered in EU

The opposition parties are opposed to the use in the Czech Republic of coronavirus vaccines without EU certification, their leaders have told CTK. They stressed that the government should be trying to acquire the highest possible amount of certified vaccines and mainly speed up the vaccination by the available ones. The Presidential Office announced on Wednesday that President Milos Zeman, at PM Andrej Babis's suggestion, had asked China for a supply of the Sinopharm Chinese vaccine.
