Czech ombudsman' words on Roma lower trust in his office - NGOs

Czech Ombudsman Stanislav Krecek's comments on Roma people lower public trust in his office and it is unacceptable for the ombudsman to use the collective guilt principle and other prejudices against them, representatives of minority rights organisations told reporters today. On Tuesday, they released an open letter, in which they called on PM Andrej Babis and MPs to distance themselves from Krecek's comments on Roma.
