Czech offer of troops to Slovakia denied
February 15th, 2022
Slovakia has received an offer from the Czech Republic to send its troops in connection with the potential deployment of NATO units in the country, Slovak Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad said at a conference on foreign and European politics today, but Czech officials have denied this. In response to the statement, the Czech Defence Ministry said it had not made the offer and it was not asked to do so.
