Czech NGOs call for change in legal definition of rape
February 15th, 2022
Konsent and Amnesty International (AI) NGOs promoting human and women's rights held a protest rally near the Czech Chamber of Deputies today to call for a change in the legal definition of rape, arguing that sexual intercourse without consent should be considered as rape, too. The NGOs argue that threats of violence and misuse of one's powerlessness are not always necessary to commit a rape.
