Czech National Security Council to discuss situation in Ukraine

The Czech National Security Council (BRS) will meet on Wednesday to debate the situation in Ukraine and the Defence Ministry's proposals of how to solve some issues regarding Russia's decision to recognise the independence of the separatist republics in eastern Ukraine, the defence minister has said. Jana Cernochova was speaking to journalists after a meeting of the Czech military command. She said she still believes that the Ukrainian crisis can be settled by diplomatic means.
