The Czech National Museum (NM) has brought 20 valuable collection items from Syria from the Bronze Age and antique, some of which are up to 4,000 years old, to Terezin for restoration, NM director Michal Lukes told reporters in the museum's restoration workshop on Wednesday. The artefacts were transported from Damascus with the aid of the Czech military, Lukes added. The collection contains a damaged statue form Palmyra, a bronze needle from Ugarit and three stone grave relievos from Palmyra.
