Czech MPs set up lower house election commission

A working group of MPs set up the election commission in the Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of Czech parliament, on Tuesday, as the first Chamber body constituted in the new election term, according to a resolution released to CTK. All parties and movements in the new Chamber of Deputies are represented in the commission that secures the elections of all posts and bodies in the lower house, also at its constituent session. Also, it organised the nominations and elections of other posts outside the Chamber of Deputies on which deputies decide under law, such as the broader leadership of the Supreme Audit Office (NKU) and members of media councils.
