Multiple voting in the European Parliament (EP) elections will be classified as a misdemeanour and fined with up to 10,000 crowns under an amendment to the law on the EP elections that the Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of Czech parliament, passed today. The change, which complies with the European Council's decision, will take effect as of next year if the Senate, the upper house, approves it and President Milos Zeman signs it into law.
