Czech MPs pass August 21 as day in memory of 1968 invasion victims

The Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of Czech parliament, approved today another significant day, August 21, as the Day in Memory of the Victims of the 1968 Warsaw-Pact Invasion and Subsequent Occupation. The MPs passed the respective amendment in an accelerated procedure in the first reading. The bill was submitted by some 90 MPs from all groups except for the Communists (KSCM)
