Czech ministry to allow deer hunting all year to protect tree plants

The Czech Agriculture Ministry wants to let gamekeepers hunt deer all year because they gnaw at young deciduous trees planted after the barkbeetle outbreak, Patrik Mlynar, deputy agriculture minister for forest management control, said on Wednesday. He said there were too many deer in some parts of the country.
