Czech ministries infringe rights by not cutting emissions - court

Four Czech ministries have infringed the rights of the Klimaticka zaloba CR (Czech Climate Litigation) association and other complainants by not taking steps to sufficiently cut greenhouse gas emissions, the Prague Municipal Court has ruled and the verdict has taken effect. The infringement of the environment, industry and trade, agriculture and transport ministries on the rights of the complainants is unlawful and the offices must not continue in violating their rights, the court decided on Wednesday.
