Czech minister to discuss Turow mining in Warsaw next week

The new Czech Environment Minister Anna Hubackova wants to discuss the recent draft Czech-Polish agreement on the controversial operation of Poland's Turow lignite mine, its impact and compensation of the damages for Czechs in Warsaw next week, she told media today. The negotiations were interrupted in late September, still under the previous Czech government, over the two parties' different position on the chance to abrogate the deal.
