Deputy PM and Interior Minister Jan Hamacek (Social Democrats, CSSD) will propose to the government today that all Czech border crossings with Austria and Germany, closed to curb the coronavirus spread, reopen, he has tweeted. He originally just spoke about the opening of more border crossings as of Tuesday. Checks at the border will be random only, Hamacek said. However, people entering the Czech Republic will still have to present a certificate on a negative COVID-19 test, he added.
