Czech Medevac programme helps 89 persecuted Belarusians so far

Czechia's Medevac humanitarian and health programme coordinated by the Interior Ministry has helped 89 persecuted Belarusians so far, today completing the second phase of aid, within which it brought 29 people to Czechia, 16 medical workers and 13 members of their families, the ministry has said. Within the programme's first phase last year, Czechia accepted 60 Belarusians who suffered injuries during the mass protests in the wake of the presidential elections. They were offered post-surgical, rehabilitation and psychological treatment.
