Czech man accused of killing woman at labour office remanded in custody

A court on Friday remanded in custody a 66-year-old man who has been accused of fatally shooting a woman in a labour office in Prague on Tuesday, out of fear that he might continue in criminal activities or escape prosecution, judge Jiri Horky has told reporters. The decision on custody has taken effect as the defendant did not exercise his right to file a complaint against it.
