Czech lower house nods to extension of Supreme Audit Office's powers

The Czech Supreme Audit Office (NKU) may see its powers to check the state financial management extended to include its supervision of further types of transactions based on a constitutional amendment that the lower house passed today and that still requires the Senate's consent. The Senate blocked similar proposals in the past.
