Czech lower house backs bill on registration of real owners

The Chamber of Deputies supported in the opening procedure a bill on the registration of real owners about which critics say it plays into the hands of Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) in the dispute over what they call his conflict of interest. There was no debate on the bill, but the disputed clause may be still amended.
