Czech lower house extends intelligence services' powers

June 7th, 2019

The Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of Czech parliament, on Friday passed a government bill to extend the powers of the intelligence services to enable them to handle recordings in information systems. The Senate, the upper house, is now to debate this bill which is to go to President Milos Zeman to be signed into law.
