Czech literary historian Pytlik, expert on Svejk, dies aged 93

Radko Pytlik, Czech literary historian and expert on the work of writer Jaroslav Hasek (1883-1923), author of the famous Good Soldier Svejk, passed away aged 93 on Monday, Pytlik's friend and Hasek's grandson Richard Hasek told CTK today. Pytlik also focused on the the works of Bohumil Hrabal (1914-1997), one of the best-known Czech authors of the second half of the 20th century. Pytlik's expertise spanned from the modern literature of the 19th and 20th century to contemporary works.
