Czech lawmakers: US should halt spread of disinformation

A group of Czech Chamber of Deputies members called on the US Congress to step up the pressure on the IT firms operating social networks to suppress the spread of disinformation with an impact on democracy. The campaign called Prague Appeal for Information Responsibility was backed by the lawmakers for seven out of the nine deputy groups, linked by "a worry about future democratic developments."
