Czech internal affairs authority case load up 40 pc in 2020

The Czech internal affairs body investigating cases of potential misconduct by members of law enforcement agencies (GIBS) launched prosecutions against 182 people in 2020, a 40 percent rise from 2019, the GIBS annual report said on Monday. Most cases concerned abuse of power and road accidents, the report said.
