Czech Interior Ministry to fund bonus for police in Covid deployment

The Czech Interior Ministry will fund half of a 10,000 crown (EUR 394) one-off bonus for police officers working in Covid protection efforts while municipalities will pay the other half, Interior Minister Jan Hamacek told reporters today. Some 8,000 police officers had been deployed in pandemic protection, Hamacek said.
