The Czech interior ministry will get some 320 million crowns (EUR 12.5m) more next year based on the first draft budget and wants to spend most of the extra funds on employees' salaries, it said in a statement. The ministry also plans to strengthen the Office for Foreign Relations and Information (UZSI), finish the construction of the police compounds in Prague's Zbraslav district and improve border protection. The interior ministry's 2020 budget will be 77.9 billion crowns, including money from the EU funds and other financial mechanisms such as the Norway Grants.
