Czech hospitals running out of antiviral drug remdesivir

Czech hospitals are running out of the antiviral drug remdesivir that is administered against serious forms of Covid-19, Czech Radio said on Monday. CRo released the news based on information from Martin Balik, a senior medical expert from the General Teaching Hospital (VFN) in Prague. Health Minister Roman Prymula told CTK the ministry was in talks on the deliveries of further drugs with their manufacturer, the US Gilead Sciences, expected by the end of this week.
