Czech health ministry to launch programme subsidising COVID-19 research

The Czech health ministry will launch a programme of subsidising medical research into COVID-19 by the end of the summer that will distribute 100 million crowns to short-time projects, Health Minister Adam Vojtech (for ANO) said at a conference on science's role in combatting the COVID pandemic. The ministry spent a total 1.7 billion crowns on medical research last year.
