Czech govt to give further 18 million euros in aid of Ukraine

May 5th, 2022

The Czech government will give further 18 million euros for humanitarian aid to Ukraine, which means 40 million euros in total, Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said at a donor conference in Warsaw today. He said the Czech Republic could organise a donor conference in late 2022 during its six-month presidency of the Council of the European Union. Along with most world countries, Czechia has strongly condemned the Russian military attack against Ukraine and extensive attacks on civilians and infrastructure.
