Czech govt may lift travel measures regarding Austria, Hungary, Germany

June 4th, 2020

The Czech cabinet will probably decide on lifting the anti-coronavirus travel restrictions between the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany and Hungary at its special meeting convened by Prime Minister Andrej Babis at 7am on Friday, Babis (ANO) told journalists on Thursday. Babis said the travel restrictions may be lifted as of Friday midnight. Until now, those returning to the Czech Republic from the other three countries have had to present a negative test for COVID-19 or go to isolation.
