Czech, German upper house heads back realistic climate goals

Czech Senate head Milos Vystrcil (Civic Democrats, ODS) and his German counterpart Reiner Haseloff (Christian Democratic Union, CDU) agreed on a realistic attitude to meeting the climate goals, they told reporters after their meeting in Prague on Wednesday. Both Haseloff and Vystrcil share the view that the planned emission reduction must not have a negative impact on the economy, self-sufficiency and security.
