Czech-German Fund to support 1,000 victims of Nazi persecution

The Czech-German Fund for the Future and the Living Memory organisation will divide six million crowns among roughly 1,000 Czechs who were persecuted by the Nazis during WWII, the fund said on Thursday. The money comes from the assets of deceased former West Berlin social democratic politician Wolfgang Reinhard Storch, whose last will states he decided to bequeath most of his wealth to people affected by Nazism.
