Czech foreign minister insists on Kosovo's recognition

There is no reason to revoke Kosovo's recognition, Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek (Social Democrats, CSSD) told journalists today, adding that Czech foreign policy must be continuous and clear. During his recent visit to Serbia, President Milos Zeman said he wanted to discuss the revocation of the Czech Republic's recognition of Kosovo's independence with other senior elected officials. Zeman said about Kosovo that a state headed by war criminals should not be part of a community of democratic states. In Belgrade, Zeman told his Serb counterpart Aleksandar Vucic he liked Serbia, but not Kosovo.
