Czech embassies to partly accept visa applications again

July 27th, 2020

Most Czech embassies and general consulates abroad will receive applications for visas again in a full or limited scope as of August 1, the foreign ministry said in a press release. Due to the bad epidemiological situation, the diplomatic offices in Brasilia, Sao Paolo, Santiago de Chile, Bogota, Nur-Sultan and Delhi will be still closed. In mid-March, the Czech Republic stopped accepting applications for visas and temporary stays in order to lower the risk of coronavirus infection.
