Czech doctors, nurses' wages equal EU average - ministry

The wages of doctors and nurses in Czech hospitals equal the EU average, a health ministry representatives told reporters on Monday, referring to data by the Institute of Health Information and Statistics (UZIS). In five years, the salaries of Czech nurses rose by 41 percent, and those of doctors by 32 percent. Doctors earned 243 percent of the national average and nurses 121 percent.
