Czech diplomat Szunyog becomes EU ambassador to Kosovo

The Council of the European Union appointed Czech diplomat Tomas Szunyog to the post of the EU ambassador to Kosovo on Thursday, the EU Council has announced. He is the fourth Czech in the post of an envoy of the European External Action Service (EEAS). Born in 1966, Szunyog is an expert on the Balkans and security policy.
