Czech defence ministry proposes legislation to gather data on citizens up for conscription

The defence ministry is proposing amendments to legislation, to allow it to gather data of citizens under conscription duty, the ministry said on Monday. The measure would allow for better preparation for emergency situations, it said. That right has so far been reserved for instances when the country is threatened by or engaged in war, the ministry said.
