Czech defence ministry to buy small-calibre ammunition

The Czech Defence Ministry will purchase small-calibre ammunition from the Sellier and Bellot company for up to 1.65 billion crowns without VAT, Defence Minister Lubomir Metnar informed the government at its meeting on Friday, ministry spokesman Jan Pejsek told CTK. The public procurement follows up a framework contract with the same firm from 2017, which expired last month. The new contract will be signed this year and fulfilled as of October 2026.
