Czech defence minister to have passive radars purchase checked

Czech Defence Minister Lubomir Metnar (for ANO) will have the recent purchase of passive surveillance systems for the Czech military checked in reaction to speculations aroused by its price, challenged by critics as excessive, Metnar told a press conference on Thursday. The two DPET system sets, the core of which are the Vera NG passive radars supplied by the Czech ERA company, have cost 1.5 billion crowns.
