Czech culture to get 870 million crowns from EEA, Norway Grants

The European Economic Area (EEA) and Norway Grants will support Czech culture with 870 million crowns over the next five years, which includes a 15 percent state participation, with six calls and some 100 projects, the Finance Ministry, the programme administrator, said on Tuesday. "Over half of the money for this period will go to cultural heritage restoration. We are not forgetting contemporary art, art critics and support for field associations and platforms either," deputy finance minister Lenka Dupakova said.
