February 18th, 2022
The extradition of Russian Alexander Franchetti to Ukraine, accusing him of taking part in an illegal armed group during the Crimea annexation, is admissible, the Prague Municipal Court ruled today, but the decision is not valid, as Franchetti filed a complaint against it with the High Court. The Czech Justice Minister is empowered to make the final decision on the extradition. Both the Russian national and Russia oppose the extradition.
